Hiking and Brunch in Pasadena
Sunday, Oct. 5, 9 a.m. Meet at 8:45 a.m. Depart at 9 a.m.

Enjoy the great outdoors with Bruins and discover a different side of Pasadena through a little-known trail through the Arroyo to Devil's Gate Dam and Hahamongna. The trail begins at the east side of Brookside Golf Course. Bring plenty of water and hike along a shaded trail along the Arroyo Seco stream to the base of Devil's Gate Reservoir. Continue on to Hahamongna and the JPL facility overlook before completing the loop around other side of the golf course. This 2-hour hike is rated level 2. It is approximately 3 miles roundtrip with small inclines and steps. After working up an appetite, continue the fun at brunch in Old Town. Hosted by UCLA Latino Alumni Association President, Yadira Ortego Yongse ’07.
