Bob Jones Trail Walk Walking is beneficial to our health. Companionship improves our mood and reduces stress. Put on your hiking shoes and enjoy all the benefits of fresh air, low impact exercise, good conversation and beautiful surroundings on a guided hike with alumni in the Central Coast. National Beacon Hill Neighborhood Tour and Brunch Join the UCLA Alumni Boston Network for a guided one-hour tour of the historic Beacon Hill neighborhood, followed by brunch. Amy Gold, alumna and former area tour guide, will take us from the golden dome of the State House through picturesque streets to learn about Beacon Hill’s rural beginnings, ornate past, fun facts and much more. Pedicycle Tour of Historic Philadelphia You’ve seen tourists riding through the streets seemingly having the time of their lives. It looks like fun, but who could you get to go with you, when would you find the time? Here’s your chance. Join Bruins in Philly for a light-hearted 2-hour tour of the Liberty Bell, Constitution Center, Independence Hall, Ben Franklin’s house and more. Even if you’ve seen it all before, you haven’t seen it like this. Being athletic is not a requirement and there’s a bench seat for kids or anyone who doesn’t want to pedal. Bruins in Singapore Join Bruins in Singapore as we explore the award winning Marina Barrage, the island’s largest and most urbanized catchment built across the mouth of the Marina Channel in the heart of the city. With an area of 10,000 hectares, or one-sixth the size of Singapore, Marina Barrage provides sustainability in its water supply while providing flood control and recreational opportunities such as windsurfing, kayaking and dragon boating. Hiking and Brunch in Pasadena Enjoy the great outdoors with Bruins and discover a different side of Pasadena through a little-known trail through the Arroyo to Devil's Gate Dam and Hahamongna. The trail begins at the east side of Brookside Golf Course. Bring plenty of water and hike along a shaded trail along the Arroyo Seco stream to the base of Devil's Gate Reservoir. Continue on to Hahamongna and the JPL facility overlook before completing the loop around other side of the golf course. This 2-hour hike is rated level 2. It is approximately 3 miles roundtrip with small inclines and steps. After working up an appetite, continue the fun at brunch in Old Town.
