2011 Nursing Pin Project

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your interest in the UCLA School of Nursing Pin Project.

Our goal is to provide a pin recognizing the entry of every new UCLA Nurse into the nursing profession and we invite you to participate. This effort, led by the School of Nursing Alumni Association, has generated overwhelming interest, but as gratifying as this is, the Pin Project is still in need of support.

Pinning ceremonies are a time honored tradition. As we prepare to celebrate our pinning ceremony we are reminded of the importance of this transition for UCLA students who are entering the nursing profession. Whether you are a new graduate or you have accumulated a generation of experience since your time in school, you might recall and profoundly cherish your own pinning ceremony.

Our appeal for the Pin Project is quickly coming to a close so we ask that you make your gift by April 22. If you have not already done so, please take a moment right now to make a donation to welcome these new nursing professionals and acknowledge their achievements.

I am proud to have given my gift. Please join me by supporting the 2011 UCLA School of Nursing Pin Project.
