The start of the school year is always an exciting time for the Bruin community, but this fall will be especially electric as the campus reopens after an 18-month closure. In his 50 years of public service, California's longest-serving Republican congressman was a champion for UCLA from Washington, D.C., helping campus rebuild following the 1994 Northridge quake. In 2006, this True Bruin was honored as the Edward A. Dickson Alumnus of the Year for his impact on the University and the nation.
Hanna Lim, M.Ed. ’05, and Mark Lim, MBA ’08, are the founders of the infant and toddler goods company Lollaland. The parents of three designed a product that they couldn’t find anywhere else, founded a small business and grew their brand with help from the popular entrepreneurial game show “Shark Tank.”
