2Dinners for 12 Strangers Cheers to 50 Years

As Dinners for 12 Strangers looks forward to its 50th anniversary, people rushed to sign up. What began as two dinners near campus has now grown to more than 400 worldwide. It came into being in the late 60s during a time of challenge and promise, and continues today with food, fun and Bruin camaraderie. The formula remains the same - arrive as strangers, depart as friends.

Have you ever been watching a movie when a scene came up that looked so familiar you immediately said "That's UCLA!" With its classic red brick buildings, the timeless arches of Royce Hall and the ascension to power when one climbs Janss Steps, the campus has long been a go-to location for the Hollywood ideal of what collegiate life is all about.
