UCLA Alumni Affairs believes that every graduate is a point of light in a constellation of excellence. In appreciation, Sept. 13 is the day we bring UCLA to you.

9 a.m. UCLA Professor of Psychology Dr. Alan Castel discusses memory and the myths and paradoxes of the aging process.
10 a.m. For Bruins with wanderlust, travel blogger Stephanie Be ’10 will provide the inspirational fuel for your journey.
11 a.m. Underground EDM co-founders of Understated, Micah Smith and Andrew Conde ’15 use music to foster community, diversity and inclusion.
Noon Bruin Career Insights asks Juan Sotelo ’96, COO of merchant services provider Payscout, for guidance in creating a dynamic company culture in the early stages of a business.
1 p.m. Three-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion Brendon Ayanbadejo ’99 discusses tackling life’s challenges on and off the field and his inspirational work for LGBTQ rights.
2 p.m. Maisie Chin ’93, M.A ’97, Co-founder of CADRE, a South Los Angeles parenting organization, examines advocacy for change in education and support for low-income parents.
3 p.m. Chief Sustainability Officer Nurit Katz, M.P.P. ’08, MBA ’08, highlights how UCLA is creating the technology and leader training of tomorrow, while leading by example in our own operations.
4 p.m. Aerospace engineer and food connoisseur Sherwin Goo ’87 combines memories of the Cassini and Juno planetary space explorations with tips on dining in Southern California.
5 p.m. UCLA Alumni Diversity Programs interviews YouTube entertainers Krishna Kumar ’13 and Kasuar Mohamaed ’14 as they explore acting, American culture and South Asian stereotypes.
