UCLA Foundation Board Chair Shirley Wang ’90 is founder and CEO of Plastpro Inc., a leading US manufacturer of fiberglass entry doors.

A passionate supporter of public education, Shirley chairs the Global Advisory Board and serves on the UCLA Investment Company Board and the executive committee for the Centennial Campaign for UCLA (which aims to raise $4.2 billion in advance of UCLA’s 100th anniversary in 2019). Leading The Foundation Board's commitment to student support, Shirley and her husband, Walter, support scholarships for middle income students and students involved with study abroad and computer science.

Prior to her career as an entrepreneur, Shirley held executive and sales positions at J. Walter Thompson and Citibank. In addition to her professional efforts, Shirley is committed to many civic activities and her philanthropy spans global causes including education; healthcare; environmental, cultural and humanitarian efforts; and religious organizations. Shirley's civic leadership includes serving on the Board of Trustees at Harvard Westlake and as a mentor for Columbia Business School students in the Non-Profit Board Leadership Program.

Shirley earned a BA in communications from UCLA and an MBA from Columbia University.
