UCLA has been the launching pad for countless remarkable journeys, including Nobel Laureates, MacArthur, Guggenheim and Sloan Fellows, and the nation’s most recognized and decorated individuals in almost every field and arena. The students you help select for scholarships may well be Bruins who go on to change the world.
Soon, exceptional candidates will be selected to become UCLA’s Class of 2028, and even as they shout with glee and shed tears of joy upon acceptance, many will worry, “How will I pay for this?” Financing college is a concern shared by deserving students across socio-economic backgrounds.
UCLA Alumni Scholarships are awarded based on merit and aim to assist students with their financial planning during their time at UCLA. It does not cover the entire cost of a degree, but it can make a significant difference. Additionally, every scholarship recipient automatically becomes a member of the Alumni Scholars Club (ASC), which offers a full-time Alumni staff advisor plus opportunities to engage in campus events and organizations, develop leadership skills and increase their connections to the university. This support is often cited as a reason for choosing to attend UCLA.
Your unique perspective as a UCLA graduate can help identify candidates who align with the University's mission and values. Joining this effort is not solely about assisting students; it's also about being a vital part of your university's legacy.
