Read and Rank Merit-Based Scholarship Applications for Newly Admitted UCLA Students
All it takes is a commitment of a few hours over one weekend to make a difference. By reading scholarship applications from newly admitted students, you’ll help identify and support the best of the best from an incredible body of potential Bruins.
The students who will become the Class of 2026 have faced the never-before-seen-in-our-lifetime challenge of learning and thriving during a pandemic. They navigated the isolation of remote classrooms, lost access to enrichment opportunities and missed out on many youthful rites of passage. Some students bore witness to the loss of loved ones or the security of their household income, but instead of losing hope, they set their sights on the stars.
Soon a small percentage of these students will be admitted to UCLA. Then they will have to make the most significant decision of their lives to date while worrying about finances and ranking multiple acceptances. Receiving an Alumni Scholarship will not only help ease their financial burden but also guarantee a supportive community of scholars will be waiting to welcome them. And, when students tally the pros and cons of each institution that admitted them, an Alumni Scholarship coupled with all of the possibilities UCLA has to offer can maintain our competitive edge compared to other prestigious colleges and universities. With a scholarship in hand on Bruin Day, many of these deserving students' futures will be Bruin.
