All it takes is a commitment of a few hours over one weekend to make a difference. When you give the gift of your time and wisdom to UCLA by reading scholarship applications from newly admitted students you’ll help identify and support the best of the best from an incredible body of potential Bruins.

Do you remember the excitement of being accepted into UCLA? How you jumped for joy upon finding a hefty package in the mailbox instead of a thin envelope. Or the elation of logging in to your computer to read, “Congratulations, it is our pleasure to offer you admission to UCLA.” In mid-March, more than 100,000 students will receive decisions, hoping to be among the 14% or so selected to join UCLA’s Class of 2024.

In the weeks that follow, admitted students will make the biggest decision of their lives to date while worrying about finances and ranking multiple acceptances. Receiving an Alumni Scholarship will not only help ease their financial burden, it guarantees a supportive community of scholars will be waiting to welcome them. And, when students tally the pros and cons of each institution that admitted them, an Alumni Scholarship coupled with all of the possibilities UCLA has to offer can maintain our competitive edge in comparison to other prestigious colleges and universities. With a scholarship in hand, come Bruin Day, many of these deserving students' futures will be Bruin.
