Professional Tip Block
When building a social enterprise, sometimes the hardest part is knowing where and how to get started. According to tech entrepreneur Marquis Cabrera, there is a methodology that successful social enterprises tend to follow, which he calls the B.I.B. method.

In order to gain traction and build a solid foundation for your social enterprise, make sure you are prepared to answer the following:
  • Business - What business are you in and why?
  • Impact - What value are you creating and for whom?
  • Brand - Who champions you and are they credible?
To learn more about this methodology, check out Cabrera’s TEDx talk.
