Interview With a Bruin Alumni Spotlights

Ellen McFadden ’75 has been a teacher with Los Angeles Unified School District for 20 years. Before that she was in the advertising/graphic design business and worked for major companies like Walt Disney (at Disneyland) as Advertising Art Director, and had her very own graphic design business for 20 years. She will be joining us at Interview With a Bruin and is excited to assist in many facets of the interview process in both education and the arts.

David Moss ’89 has more than 25 years of experience working for developers of telecommunications, broadcast and real estate projects, as well as 20 years servicing the site management industry and helping to build tower portfolios purchased by publicly traded companies. He will be joining us at Interview With a Bruin and is looking to meet with students interested in engineering, real estate, entrepreneurship/start up, biological sciences and general business. He has worked in all these industries and has multiple degrees in natural sciences, engineering and business.

Meet Ms. McFadden and Mr. Moss at Interview With a Bruin.

Professional Tip

If you ever see an event where “smart casual” attire is required, think of it as how you’d dress if you want to make a good impression but in a casual setting. Say you're going to Napa Valley Grille to meet your significant other’s parents. You don’t need to be dressed as nice as business casual, but you should look put together. Avoid sweats, athletic wear, T-shirts, shorts and leggings. Nice jeans and a simple top/sweater are perfect! More attire tips here.
