UCLA Mixed Alumni Association Congratulates You on Your Graduation

Dear Graduating Class of 2024:

On behalf of the UCLA Mixed Alumni Association, we would like to congratulate you on your graduation from UCLA! We acknowledge that your achievement is not only momentous in itself, but you faced great challenges while transitioning to UCLA during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your dedication and perseverance has led you to this moment. We would like to welcome you to our vibrant community at the UCLA Mixed Alumni Association. We are thrilled to extend a special invitation to join an association that is as diverse and dynamic as the identities it represents.

At the Mixed Alumni Association, our mission is to provide a space for UCLA alumni, their families, future alumni and the broader UCLA community to share experiences, explore and celebrate mixed-heritage identity. We aim to build, support and strengthen our community around the diverse narratives that make up our mixed heritage. Our association is open to everyone interested in understanding and supporting mixed-heritage issues, whether or not they identify as multiracial or of mixed heritage.

Throughout the year, we host a variety of events ranging from thought-provoking and engaging panel discussions to mixed-heritage advocacy to fun social events. Join us for our first event of the academic year, our New Bruin Send-off, an annual event that will take place this August or September. This gathering welcomes new mixed-heritage Bruins at a fun afternoon gathering. It is an excellent opportunity for you to connect with our newest Bruins and alumni and discover how you can contribute to and benefit from our community.
