For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began, the World Health Organization has declared a different disease, monkeypox, to also be a public health emergency of international concern. It is important to stay informed as a state of emergency has been declared in several states and nationally. This issue highlights resources and statements to help keep Bruins apprised of and prepared for the evolving situation.
