Anti-Asian hate attacks, injustices in the Black community and other hate incidents that have occurred over the past year have taken their toll on our community. It is in times like this that we are most thankful for Bruin leaders like you who, daily, demonstrate their commitment to caring for our community.

Last week, the UCLA Center for Chinese Studies held a town hall discussion on #StopAsianHate. Watch the recorded town hall here and learn about the intersection of Asian American Rights issues with anti-Blackness and Black Lives Matter, how political and media discourse about China has contributed to violence against Asian-Americans, and “how to respond” from a civil rights advocacy perspective from a roundtable of scholars, public intellectuals and activists.
