Join UCLA’s American Indian Studies Center in celebration of California Native American Day on Sept. 24 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. (PDT) for a Zoom poetry event featuring local tribal poets. Each poet will share knowledge of their language, culture and traditional life of contemporary California Native women. They will discuss issues facing their communities, as well as the perseverance of their cultures.
