We love the community that we've been able to form through The Diversity Digest over the past year. There's no doubt that you, along with all our readers, are passionate about social justice and racial equity. That passion has fueled our movement for racial equity in all areas where Bruins lead and hold space. The movement will get its moment on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1 as the UCLA Alumni Association Board of Directors, in collaboration with the Diversity Programs & Initiatives team and UCLA Alumni Career Engagement, brings you the UCLA Alumni Changemakers Summit: Racial Equity at Work.
This inaugural summit will foster a space for alumni and community members who are professionally engaged in DEI work to connect and share honest approaches and practices for making progress toward an anti-racist workplace. Sessions will feature “real talk” conversations, led by industry professionals who have dedicated their careers to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
We would like to personally invite you, as a dedicated supporter of The Diversity Digest, to join us this week for the UCLA Alumni Changemakers Summit and be a part of our ongoing movement.
Summit Highlights
Every session of our summit will be packed with opportunities to listen, learn and understand, as you've done through the Digest each week. Below are just a few of the sessions we think you'll enjoy. For a full schedule, visit the UCLA Alumni Changemakers Summit website.
