Lambda Alumni Scholars

On Jan. 24, UCLA Lambda Alumni convened to discuss ways alumni can support students through mentorship.
LGBTQ Dinner for 12 Strangers (Alumni)
On Feb. 24, Lambda Alumni hosted Dinner for 12 Strangers with LGBTQ alumni and allies in downtown Los Angeles. The dinner was a fun way for LGBTQ Bruins to come together and meet new friends.
LGBTQ Dinner for 12 Strangers (Students)
On March 3, Lambda Alumni hosted a Dinner for 12 Strangers for LGBTQ students and allies. Students had a fun dinner with Lambda Alumni board members who shared their experiences at UCLA and after their graduated.
Pride Admit Weekend Alumni and Student Dinner
On April 13, the UCLA Lambda Alumni hosted a dinner during Pride Admit Weekend to welcome admitted LGBTQ students to campus. Board members shared what it means to be a Bruin and why they chose UCLA.
UCLA LGBTQ Alumni Celebration: Lambda Sunrise Gala
On May 19, Lambda Alumni held its first flagship gala to celebrate its 28 years of support for the LGBTQ+ Bruins. Lambda Alumni extends its sincerest appreciation to all those who attended and supported the event.

The UCLA Lambda Alumni Association was founded in 1989 by Doug Walters and Corinne Lightweaver and is one of the oldest and most well-established LGBTQ+ alumni organizations in the country. Led by a dedicated group of LGBTQ+ alumni volunteers, Lambda sustains a network of LGBTQ+ alumni and friends to support one another, UCLA students and the greater LGBTQ+ community.
