On Jan. 30, the UCLA Latino Alumni Association hosted part one of the "Limitless" panel series with "Latinas in Leadership" featuring the inspiring stories of successful Latina Bruins. The inaugural Limitless panel was moderated by Dr. Elizabeth Gonzalez '09, inaugural director for the Hispanic-Serving Institution at UCLA, who facilitated a spirited discussion among our featured panelists Corissa Hernandez, M.Ed. '06, Stephanie Moran Reed '10 and Kimberly Rodriguez '12.

Los Bruins Men's Basketball Game
UCLA Athletics celebrated the UCLA Latino Alumni Association at the Los Bruins game on Jan. 14. Our board members Andres Snaider '88, Cesar Pacheco '18 and scholarship recipients Kimberly Barrueta, Lucero Sanchez, Victor Lopez and Nicolas Mendoza received on-court recognition.
Winter Hikes
UCLA and Stanford Latino alumni participated in a mindfulness exercise led by Ana Victorino during our Malibu hike. We reconnected with nature as well as with each other. Our hikes are a great way to enjoy the outdoors and reconnect with alumni and friends. Meanwhile, Bruins took to the trails in Joaquin Miller Park in the San Francisco Bay Area. University of California Chicanx Latinx Alumni Association Summit
UCLA Bruins traveled to UC Santa Cruz for the quarterly University of California Chicanx Latinx Alumni Association summit early in March. The UC CLAA is a statewide collective of Latinx alumni from all 10 UC campuses whose mission is to support the overall advancement of the UC to better serve the needs of the on-campus and off-campus Chicanx Latinx community.
Hispanic-Serving Institution Visioning Forum
The second Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) visioning forum was hosted by inaugural director for the Hispanic-Serving Institution at UCLA, Elizabeth Gonzalez '09. The forum created meaningful conversations with change-agents Michele Siqueiros and Sonia Zarate who are driving us toward this designation. We are pleased to share the live stream recording of the event along with the PowerPoint slides from the esteemed keynote speakers.
