As you consider your generous support of the UCLA Latino Alumni Association (ULAA), we would like to introduce you to gift planning opportunities.
Legacy and deferred gifts help ULAA prepare confidently for the future and can provide you the opportunity to maximize your philanthropy at UCLA. By naming ULAA as a beneficiary of your estate plans, retirement plans, life insurance policies or by establishing a charitable trust or gift annuity, you can achieve your personal, financial, estate-planning and philanthropic goals.
These legacy gifts in support of ULAA and the Latino Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund help us ensure the academic excellence of future generations of Latino/a students at UCLA and foster a community where they feel empowered to reach their full potential. For more information about legacy gifts, please contact Livia Souza, director of gift planning, at Lsouza@support.ucla.edu and CC latino@alumni.ucla.edu or visit legacy.ucla.edu.
Supporting Our 2023 Spark Campaign
Our online fundraising campaign kicks off on June 1 and ends June 30. During our 2022 Spark Campaign, we exceeded our $25,000 goal and in 30 days raised nearly $30,000 for scholarships, all thanks to your generous support!
This year, our goal is $35,000. We know by working together, we can surpass our goal again!
How can you help? Join us in our fundraising efforts by ...
Becoming a UCLA Latino Alumni Association Spark Campaign ambassador. As an ambassador, you will ensure that your personal and social media network get an opportunity to make a donation.
Making a matching gift of $2,500 – $5,000 or more. As a matching gift donor, you lead by example, incentivizing, inspiring and motivating other Bruins to give.
Making a donation when the campaign opens. A gift of any amount makes a difference.
To get involved, please email us at latino@alumni.ucla.edu. Learn about last year's Spark Campaign by visiting the campaign website, and keep a look out for an email announcing the launch of this year's campaign.
