A Letter From UCLA Latino Alumni Association President Cesar Pacheco '18
Dear Latino Bruins,
It’s my honor to introduce you to our third annual Spark Crowdfunding campaign. Our goal during this fundraising campaign is to raise $25,000 by June 10, 2022. Please learn more about our campaign, some of our current scholarship recipients and make a donation by clicking the image below.
Your gift, whether big or small, supports the Bruins who are remarkable pioneers, scholars, global leaders and thought drivers. All gifts to UCLA Spark campaigns are tax-deductible.
The UCLA Latino Alumni Association (ULAA) aspires to provide significant support for our future scholars and community leaders. Latino students make up 21% of freshmen and 23% of transfer students at UCLA, which has announced its goal to become a Hispanic-serving institution by 2025.
Join us in supporting the next generation of leaders and changemakers with a gift to the UCLA Latino Alumni Scholarship. Since our inception, our scholarship has provided financial resources, allowing students to immerse themselves at UCLA completely, and fostered a welcoming and supportive environment for Latino/Latina students.
As always, feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns via email at: latino@alumni.ucla.edu.

Go Bruins!

Recap of ULAA & Scott Properties Group Happy Hour for Real Estate and Finance Professionals
We want to thank Scott Properties Group for partnering with us as well as the 30 alumni who registered and attended the event. Through their registration, we were able to raise $650 for our scholarship fund. Addressing the needs of our Latino/Latina students on campus and beyond is crucial to our core mission and we’re really grateful for everyone's support. If you attended the event, we hope that you learned something valuable about how to build generational wealth through real estate investing.
Show and Tell From Victor Villegas '78, M.F.A. '82
Help us in congratulating Victor Villegas — his Monument Valley photo was selected by Your Daily Photograph in the month of April. Less than five percent of artist submissions to this section were accepted and presented. Villegas received his degrees in film/TV production and theater arts, worked 14 years in television animation (as production manager, voice director and talent coordinator) and is currently working in live action production finance.
