A Letter From UCLA Latino Alumni Association President Janette Palacios '98, M.U.R.P. '01
Greetings Alumni and Friends,
I am delighted to introduce myself as the new president of the UCLA Latino Alumni Association. I have served on the board for the past three years, and I am looking forward to continuing to build strong, lasting relationships with our alumni while supporting our current students.
Among my goals are to continue ULAA’s legacy by increasing our scholarship fundraising, interfacing with students to understand their current needs and provide them with resources, building a stronger presence of the alumni association and strengthening partnerships with alumni networks and Latino Bruin-owned businesses.
Although our new board is working through unprecedented times, we will persevere toward our goals, and I’m excited by our commitment to this endeavor. Our board recently hosted a virtual career panel and we have more events scheduled, so stay tuned.
I am looking forward to serving you and encourage all feedback. Together we can overcome.
Go Bruins!

2020-2022 President
