Christel in Safari Kenya & Tanzania
Classic Safari: Kenya & Tanzania

“I have visited Africa many times over the years; however, this was the first time I experienced the migration. What a spectacle! Kenya is part of the world famous Great Migration, where close to two million wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle make their 1,800-mile round trek from the Serengeti to Masai Mara. I highly recommend this tour featuring five of the top national parks in Kenya and Tanzania at this special time of year.”

A Favorite Memory: “Shortly after we arrived in South Africa, we got in one of the Safari jeeps and left for our first safari experience. We headed down a trail to a dry creek bed and I remember my daughter saying that she thought she smelled an elephant. A minute later we got to the bottom of the creek bed and up on the other side was a giant elephant staring down at us. I thought our trip would end right there but the elephant turned away and crashed through the bushes eating vegetation all the way. That was the beginning of a great safari. The images of elephants, lions, zebras, monkeys, rhinos, gazelles, giraffes, leopards and other animals will be in my mind forever. Cocktail hour on the African savannah was also pretty special. But, most of all, I got to have an adventure with my daughter. As they say, "Priceless."
