TRAVELER'S MOMENT
Travelers: Marsha ’69 and Andy ’70 Lewis Number of Trips With UCLA Alumni Travel: 7 First Trip: East African Safari (1976) Most Recent Trip: Total Solar Eclipse in Texas (2024) A Favorite Memory: “Some of our favorite travel memories include: hearing lion cubs and their mother outside our room in Kenya, going behind the scenes at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, learning from Professor Efrain Kristal’s lectures in Spain and Portugal, observing wolves in Yellowstone National Park in the cold winter, walking along the Mekong River in Vietnam, and shouting for joy when the clouds parted so we could observe the totality of the solar eclipse in Texas last month. We are also looking forward to viewing the Aurora Borealis in Iceland with a hearty bunch of UCLA Alumni travelers in November. With these adventures along with a good bed, great food, much laughter and the 8-clap, there is no better way to explore than with UCLA Alumni Travel.”
