We’d like to bring three trips to your attention that sold out very quickly this year. Our Journey Through Vietnam sold out in 2023 and 2024, and we expect the same results for the trip next year. Especially since this trip features Professor George Dutton, an expert on Vietnam.
The Journey to Southern Africa tour, featuring the elegant Rovos Rail, is off to a good start. Add to an already fabulous tour Professor Patricia Turner, Department of African American Studies and World Arts and Cultures/Dance, and we should have another sold-out tour next March.
Last but not least, we will be offering two land trips to Japan again to meet the demand for this fascinating destination. This trip rates very high with past tour participants, so come see for yourself everything Japan has to offer.
The options are many, and we’re optimistic you’ll find a trip of your liking.
On our homepage you’ll find all of our upcoming tours. We’d love to hear from you, so contact us by phone at 310-206-0613 or email at travel@alumni.ucla.edu. We hope to see you on a UCLA Alumni Travel trip in 2024!

Travel to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana on this annual trip to Africa. Japan continues to be one of the hottest destinations since they opened for tourism last spring. Begin in cosmopolitan Tokyo, followed by a stay in a traditional Ryokan Inn in Hakone. Travel to Takayama in the Japanese Alps, before continuing to culturally rich Kanazawa. The trip concludes with three full days in Japan’s Cultural capital, Kyoto. An extension to Hiroshima is also available.
