“I am often asked what my favorite travel destinations in the world are. Ever since I first visited the Galápagos Islands in 2005, these remote islands off the coast of Ecuador have been on the list. Since then I have returned three more times, each time in awe of this magical place where the animals are indifferent to your presence. The Galápagos Islands are a very special place in this world, and one I hope you will visit at some point in your life”

TRAVELER'S MOMENT
Travelers: Dean ’82, MS ’85 and TC ’84 Chiang Number of Trips With UCLA Alumni Travel: 2 First Trip:The Charm of the Amalfi Coast (2021) Most Recent Trip: Ancient Greece (2023) A Favorite Memory: “The trip to Ancient Greece with Santorini and Crete was everything we expected and more with UCLA Alumni Travel. Love small group tours! We got to know our fellow travelers in conversations at mealtimes with lots of laughter. The logistics of excursions were efficient without the wait long associated with a large group. All the details during the tour were well coordinated by our great Tour Director Lina. Still thinking back to the seaside town of Nafplio, with sunrise strolls along the quiet streets with just the cats and the sunset dinner along the water.”
