A Favorite Memory: "Our favorite memory was the tour of Egypt and the Eternal Nile. We learned so much about 3,000 years of ancient history of Egypt (the mother of recorded history) visiting the incomparable museums in Cairo and Luxor and seeing the pyramids of Giza and Saqqara. We were in awe of the Abu Simbel temple and the antiquities in Luxor and on several islands in the Nile. We experienced serene moments in ships sailing Lake Nasser and the Nile. We enjoyed a sumptuous lunch in the home of an Egyptian family in Luxor. An unforgettable joy to watch the Valley of the Kings from a hot air balloon and see the sun rise over the eternal Nile. Hassan, our tour director, was outstanding and it was a pleasure to share our favorite memory with our delightful travel companions."
