Gold Membership with the Alumni Association certainly has its perks. Not only is it an investment in UCLA's future while receiving premium benefits, it's also like a VIP pass. In recent months, here are just a few of the extras that have been added to the Gold Member experience.
Sponsored by our partners at Toyo Tires, randomly-selected Gold Members received two free tickets to enjoy a Men’s Basketball conference home game from the 100-level of Pauley Pavilion, plus free parking. Congratulations to the following winners: Justin Nasse ’17, Dawn Buch ’85, Ellen McFadden ’75, Bob Baker ’80, Justin Gugajew ’07.
Robert Earnest ’84 and his son (pictured above) received two free courtside tickets to a Los Angeles Sparks basketball game courtesy of Christine Simmons ’97, UCLA Alumni Board president and president and COO of the Los Angeles Sparks.
Gold Members were the only guests to receive guaranteed seating to the premiere of the feature documentary “Waterschool” courtesy of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. This film speaks directly to storytelling for the purpose of creating positive change by bringing viewers through the journey of six young women who are part of a global water initiative.
Just in time for Football season, there were two opportunities for those who upgraded to a Gold Membership to win a gift swag bag of Under Armour gear. Congratulations to the winners Alice Sworder ’67 and Andrew Blair ’91.
Gold Members were the first to hear about the Alumni Appreciation Day Gymnastics meet. In addition to the four complimentary tickets, Gold Members also received an additional ticket, allotting them with five free admissions to the meet against Ohio State, along with a poster signed by the team. UCLA Gymnastics went on to become the 2018 Pac-12 Champions.
Gold Members enjoyed two unique performances at Royce Hall and three special offers courtesy of the Center for the Art of Performance:
In addition to presale tickets to the L.A. Galaxy Game + meet-and-greet with Bruin players, Gold Members also received preferred seating in the reserved end line section and priority access for the post-game meet-and-greet with former UCLA Soccer standouts Nathan Smith and Brian Rowe.
