Researching and Honoring the Bruin Fallen
There were approximately 275 UCLA students, faculty and alumni killed during World War II, the most of any U.S. university besides Harvard. But for Bill Beigel '80, M.A. '83, this is more than just a statistic. He has spent the last eight years meticulously uncovering and documenting how each person died, either in battle or training, domestic or abroad. Learn about his process and amazing discoveries.
