One of UCLA’s most popular events is back! Join fellow Bruins to unwind from the workday, enjoy delicious food and tap into the power of the UCLA alumni network. Be ready to share your experiences, exchange business cards and brush up on your 8-clap. Come to one or both southland events on Aug. 9 in Santa Monica or Aug. 24 in El Segundo.

Tips for a Great 2nd Act
Nearly 200 alumni and guests were part of the 2nd Act event on July 19 at the Alumni Center. Noted career coach and author John Tarnoff covered topics like personal and professional transitions, achieving and enjoying success beyond traditional retirement and disrupting society’s conventional aging ideology.
