What Does the Alumni Association Do?

What Does the Alumni Association Do? You've probably received an email or two about a game watch party or a request to volunteer for Alumni Scholarships, or an invitation to host or attend a Dinner for 12 Strangers. Well, those are small slices of an ever-growing UCLA Alumni pie. The list of activities is as robust and diverse and far-reaching as UCLA's nearly 500,000 alumni. Here's a visual rundown of what we do and the plethora of ways that you can get involved.

Listening Tour

Listening to Alumni in Europe
Fresh from a listening tour across Europe, two members of the Alumni Affairs network team sought feedback from Bruins in Paris, London, Geneva, Zurich, Barcelona and Madrid, as to how they can stay relevant and add value to their lives. This is what they heard.

UCLA One Groups

UCLA ONE's Newest Feature
Networking with Bruins has never been easier than with UCLA ONE. Now with the addition of Groups, you can easily meet Bruins in your industry, seek advice, post jobs, share insights, and help advance your career or someone else's. It's free to join. Check it out!

Travel

Experience the World with Fellow Bruins
UCLA Alumni Travel offers the companionship of people who share an intellectual curiosity and sense of fun and adventure. Be inspired by meeting people with different life experiences and invigorated by discussion. Plus, top-notch UCLA professors accompany more than half of the tours to share their expertise. 2018 highlights include tours in Iceland, the Himalayas and Cortona, where "Under the Tuscan Sun" was filmed.

Send-off

Welcome Incoming Students and Families
New Bruin Send-offs are a multifaceted opportunity for engagement. Incoming students can meet fellow students and build a network of friendship. Parents can discover ways to stay involved in their student's educational journey. Alumni can invigorate their connection with local Bruins and the university, while sharing their personal experiences at UCLA. Attend a Send-off near you.
