On Dec. 11, members of the UCLA Alumni Los Angeles Southeast Network delivered hundreds of stuffed animals to Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA. The donation was a result of the network’s annual Teddy Bear Drive, led by fourth year student Alexandra Munoz, a cancer survivor herself, and her mother Sylvia Munoz ’83. Accepting the generous donation were staff from the Chase Child Life program at the hospital as well as Jacqueline Casillas, M.D. ’95, a pediatric oncologist and director of the Pediatric Cancer Survivorship Program.
