March Challenge: Students, whether you are just starting your search, already applying
and interviewing, or preparing to start an internship, job or research opportunity,
this is the time to seek the advice and expertise of your mentor – no matter what
phase you are in. Mentors, reach out to your student and ask where they are
in this process and how you can help. Your guidance could give them the edge they
need to secure a great opportunity and succeed in that position.

Mentor Spotlight: Andrew Conde '15
"Andrew has been so helpful and encouraging. He's helped me move past all my fears
of the lucrative field that is the music industry, and has helped connect me with
other individuals within the industry that I can relate to and gain further insight
from. He's incredibly informative and genuinely listens to provide the best advice
possible. I couldn't ask for a better mentor!" – Lidia Margaryan, first-year
transfer student majoring in English.
Andrew is mentoring multiple students this year. He earned his Bachelor of
Arts degree in music history in 2015 and currently works in music distribution and
label management.

Review Your Mentorship Agreement
With three months left in the academic year, this is a great opportunity to review
and reassess your goals for your mentorship. We encourage you to look back at the
Mentorship Agreement that you completed together at the beginning of the academic
year. See how you have progressed with what you set out to accomplish together and
refresh your goals for the remaining time to make the most of your mentorship.
Mentors, we hope the listings below will be a helpful resource as you guide your
student and identify relevant student career-focused workshops to help further their
growth. For local mentors and students, there are also athletic and arts events
that we encourage you to consider attending together if your schedules allow.
